No longer a child by Dr Wedu Ndebele

In this book the author looks at the natural growth and contrasts it with spiritual growth. He explores why growth is necessary and that all must grow. He also explores what the goal of growth is and what is the gold standard of measure of this growth. He then explores the stages of growth and why we must all aim for the Highest standard of maturation. It’s a book that forces you to do a self assessment of your own maturity, and challenges you to grow more and more to your full potential and this impact one’s society…

The bible defines a child as one who is tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. New American Oxford Dictionary defines a child as a young being below the age of Puberty or below the legal age of majority, or a son or daughter of any age, or an immature or irresponsible person or a person who has little or no experience in a particular area. We must therefore remember that from these definitions there are grown ups who act like children and who are therefore also children, it’s not just the years or the size of any individual. A child is one that acts or behaves like one. In other words ifyou have an adult with, severe disabilities, who can not help themselves, in the medical field theyare often assessed in terms of their level of functionality, they are said to operate at a 3 or 5 year old levels hence in essence they are a child. This book helps to unlock the journey to maturity from the biblical perspective.
