Total Submission to God: The Path to Power and Authority

Apostle Tose Ndebele

Authority must be exercised. Power must be used. ”

Apostle Tose Ndebele’s message reminds us that true authority and power flow from a life totally submitted to God. Apostle Tose Ndebele continued the series on Total Submission to God to Release Power and Authority, showing how obedience and alignment with God’s will open the door for divine strength, healing, and victory.

Power and Authority Begin with Submission

From the very beginning, humanity was given authority and power by God — but lost it through disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Jesus came to restore what was lost. Through His Obedience in the Garden of Gethsemane and His Resurrection in the Garden of the Tomb, Jesus gave every believer access to that same power and authority. When we surrender our will to God, just like Jesus did, we receive divine authority — not based on our position or title, but on our relationship with Him.

Power Must Be Used

Apostle Tose Ndebele shared a personal testimony of waking up under a spiritual attack and overcoming It not through prayer alone, but by reading and declaring the Word of God. As he read through the book of Job, healing came instantly—proving that the Word of God is alive and powerful. “If you don’t use power, you lose it. ”We were reminded that just as electricity must be used when generated, Spiritual Power Must Be Exercised through Faith, Word and obey.

Authority Sees and Hears

Jesus said in John 5:19, “The Son can do nothing by Himself; He can only do what He is His Father doing. ”Authority comes from alignment. To exercise spiritual authority, we must first be under authority—listening, obeying, and following God’s leading. When we see what God is doing and hear what He is saying, we can act with confidence, power, and purpose.

Living Under Authority

Authority without submission is powerless. Whether in families, workplaces, or ministries — true authority comes when we live under God’s order. Even Jesus, though He had all power submitted fully to the Father’s will. When we humble ourselves before God, we gain strength to stand firm against every attack, to walk in holiness, and live victoriously.

Final Reflection

Power and authority don’t come from shouting or titles — they come from intimacy with God. It’s not enough to hear sermons or play worship songs. We must act on the Word, live by it, and stay under divine authority.“My desire and my prayer, God, that I may know You — that I may know You more. ”
